One way through which the government sought to ameliorate the hardship faced by many with emergence of the COVID -19 pandemic is through the administration of Social Investment Programmes and palliatives.
Understanding how the COVID -19 affected young persons, and their access to government livelihood enhancement programmes would therefore form a useful basis on how their welfare can be improved in the post COVID - 19 era and beyond.
